  5. You need to type and enter the C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8 and then Enter. It doesn’t open a folder, and enter C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v6 instead.
  6. Look for the file EntitlementDatastore.ecml.  Right-click it and select delete. You need to select yes to confirm.
  7. You need to open the QuickBooks desktop and your company file.
  8. You need to follow the on-screen instructions to register QuickBooks again with your product and license info.
